Per the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan chaired, on June 5 at the Royal College of Higher Military Education (CREMS) in Kénitra, the graduation ceremony of the 24th the Higher Defense Class and the 58th General Staff Class.

Upon His arrival at the Royal College of Higher Military Education, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan was greeted by the Lieutenant General, Inspector General of the FAR and Commander of the South Zone, and the Colonel-Major, Director of CREMS, before reviewing a detachment of the Royal Air Forces which paid honors.

His Royal Highness was then greeted by the Lieutenant General, Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie, the Senior Officers of the General Staff of the FAR, the Wali of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra Region, the Governor of the Province of Kénitra, the Delegated Arms Commander of the Place de Kénitra and the teaching staff.

After following a presentation on the “Crisis Management Process Within the FAR”, led by two trainee officers, His Royal Highness proceeded to the presentation of higher military education certificates with a master’s degree specialized in national defense and staff diplomas respectively to trainee officers of the Higher Defense Course and the National and Foreign Staff Course.

The Colonel-Major, Director of CREMS, then presented to His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan a selection of research papers from the promotion of the Higher Defense Course.

The 24th class of the Higher Defense Course and the 58th class of the General Staff Course include 285 graduates, including 70 officers from 26 brotherly countries, namely: Saudi Arabia, Spain, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Egypt, Ethiopia, France, Gabon, Guinea Conakry, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, DR Congo, Senegal, Tanzania, Chad, Togo and Comoros.
